About the Conference

With a continued history of supporting Immersion and Dual Language Educators & Scholars, we are excited to announce that the Seventh International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education will take place in Charlotte, NC, USA, February 6-9, 2019. With the incredible history passed to us by the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition at the University of Minnesota, we are proud to gather 10+ school tours, 100+ sessions, and 20+ workshops focused on the Dual Language and Immersion education world.

In 2016, the conference welcomed over 40 sponsors and exhibitors to Minnesota (see who).  We are pleased to offer over 15 sponsorship levels and 30+ exhibitor tables for organizations to share with attendees.  Exhibits should offer materials and services related to PreK–16 immersion and dual language teaching as well as texts and resources for immersion/dual language researchers and teacher educators. Content materials (math, social studies, science, language arts) in non-English languages as well as professional development materials for immersion teachers are welcome.

The Sixth International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education was proud to host over 1,100 educators and professionals from across the globe.  #NCDLI2019 is looking forward to meeting the challenge of bringing the same quality of presenters, sessions and invited guests to North Carolina.  We extend an invitation to you to join us in Charlotte with over 1,100 dedicated educators supporting second language teaching and research.

  • Thursday, February 7, 2019 - 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Exhibit Hall Dates and Times

  • Friday, February 8, 2019 - 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Saturday, February 9, 2019 - 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

No exhibitor tables will be available during Thursday workshops. 

Breakdown Time

  • Saturday, February 9, 2019 - 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All Conference sponsors (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze) will receive a special Exhibitor invitation to attend our Thursday evening welcoming reception to be held in the Grand Ballroom at 6:30 pm.

What You Get

  • One 6 ft. x 2.5 ft. skirted table

  • Two chairs and one wastebasket

  • Wifi access (Note: dedicated wired connection will cost extra)

  • Electrical drop is available for an additional $75 per day plus service fee and tax (order before January 30, 2019 directly from hotel)

Payment is due at time of registration and does not include conference registration for organizational reps.  Confirmation notices will be sent once registration and payment are completed. If any exhibitors wish to attend general sessions, Plenary, Keynote or Friday Night NASCAR, please register separately at posted fees. 

We do offer conference registrations, meals and special event invitations with our various sponsorship packages.

Note: We will be glad to process refunds minus a cancelation fee of $100 if requested before December 1, 2018.  No refunds issued after this date.

Additional Promotional and Advertising Opportunities

We are pleased to offer additional promotional and advertising avenues for exhibitors. Advertisers/Sponsors should plan for 1200 attendees. All items should be provided to NCDLI2019 (address below) no later than December 31, 2018 unless special arrangements made in advance with Conference staff.

  • Banner Ads (via the use MeetApp for the conference program) at $500 for the full conference.

  • Inserts (brochures/fliers/DVDs) at $500 per item.

  • Branded Items (pens/pencils, books, folders) at $500 per item – to be given to all attendees or made generally available during the conference.

  • Name-badge Lanyards – two options available:

    • $3,000 - Sponsor provides artwork and NCDLI2019 will produce for the conference. Single color only.
      Artwork due: October 31, 2018

    • $500 - Sponsor produces lanyards and ships to NCDLI2019
